Hello my name is Zach, my friends call me Z for short. Thank you for taking the time to view my coastal surf and golf artwork. My medium is acrylic on canvas and wood. When I was young, my family saw signs of my artistic abilities and helped me learn basic fundamentals as an artist. I grew up with a brother in Westlake Village, California where the activities are endless. I would go skate with my friends almost everyday of the summer looking for new spots. A bit later on in high school, skateboarding slowed down and surfing came up more. The similarities in drawing lines on a wave or on a mountain to drawing or using a paint brush are incredible. On your time, your move, with your own style. No one can replicate or judge how you express yourself. As my love for the outdoors grows, my awareness to protect our beautiful planet and wildlife has as well. We must all do our part to help sustain what we have for our future. I'm a commissioned artist and stay busy with new art pieces. I also work full-time at Newport Beach Country Club. My dream is to become a full-time artist and to share my story.
